EDM wire guides
Wire guide is one of the most important consumable parts for wire-cut EDM machines. It is made of a diamond sheet with a hole, ceramic insert, and stainless-steel case. The quality of the diamond, the accuracy of the hole, and the arc of the upper and lower chamfers of the diamond inside decide the processing quality and stability.
Our wire guides use Single-crystal diamond, which has superior wear resistance. To achieve high accuracy of the hole, we use Laser drilling machines to make the hole inside the diamond sheet, with the smallest hole 0.001mm.
Various EDM wire guides are available from us, such as for Sodick, Charmilles, Agie, Mitsubishi, Makino, Hitachi, Seibu, Chmer, Accutex, and SSG. we can also customize diamond wire guides according to the customer’s sample.
Charmilles EDM wire guide
Charmilles wire guide use diamond, hole sizes available from 0.075-0.33mm.
Two type of diamond - daimond sheet, and whole diamond intead of diamond sheet + ceramice instert.
For whole diamond type - both stainless house and ceramic house available
